cut out for you

This series of collages titled cut out for you.. The title is taken from a heading cut from a newspaper supplement published in 1959 (image below).

These small-scale, minimal pieces point out the relationship between one image and the next. By using basic identifiable forms I am exploring the interpretation of visual cues and how we connect with place.
