South London goes...

In June (2014) I co-curated an exhibition at the new Viking Gallery in Margate, Kent. The show was called South London goes to the Seaside and it included the work of over 30 artists and creative practitioners from the capital.



I worked on this show with artist-photographer Jessy Boon Cowler as part of our collaborative project, Splitpin Projects. We made this diptych for the Viking Gallery. It was developed from a video installation titled Salon in which stills of our works played at varying speeds over two monitors side-by-side. We selected one of these combinations and made A2 prints for the show. Alongside this, we put together a physical photo album of the images from Salon that also functioned like a slideshow; viewers were invited to pick it up and flick through...
